    Open Wireless Router

What would you do if you found an open wireless router accessible from your house? I've already gotten into the router (the idiot didn't change the default password!) but I really can't do much in there except access Netgear's basic logs and change the password. I can see his two computers, but can't access them. Anyone know of anything malicious I can do? I'm bored.

I can't send any 'net send' commands, but I'd love to bug him. Maybe all I can do is constantly drop is IP lease and piss him off, but surely I can do better than that!

And no, I can't just go tell him it's open... there are 6 networks visible from my living room and I don't know which neighbor it is.

Amusing, but not exactly August Knights behavior. If some of your fellow Knights have any input on topic, I suggest they take it to PM, IM, or Email.

I think Nuts intent was good natured.

I'd print out a leaflet that simply read: Is your wireless network secure? and stuff it in all your neighbors mailboxes. Hopefully the owner would get the point.

Shrug... this isn't what we're about, guys. I love hax0ring as much as the next guy, but this is not the forum for it. Sorry, but someone had to say it.
