The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.

Did you get any headshots?

Yeah, I own a sling (made by JBL). I've used them for years, and as a matter of fact, used it last time I was out. Trouble is, it tends to bounce off the big fish. I had to pin one fish against the sand and force the spear the rest of the way through. This time with the gun I had the opposite problem... with all 3 bands loaded my spear traveled through the fish and into the steel wreck. Fortunately I was able to wriggle it free.
Next shot I took, I only loaded 2 bands, and it was about perfect.
The pole spear is especially good when you want to tickle a lobster out of a hole or when you're hunting for flounder/fluke. Just drill those suckers right in the top of the head.
