I've been absent from WoW for a while lately -- been busy catching up on the games my old computer could not run very well. :-)

Here are some pics of my new system, and the new table I just bought -- I found one of those heavy-duty office "utility" tables with a crank to raise and lower the tabletop for $65 at a local used furniture store. It's just what I wanted -- height adjustment with plenty of tabletop space and leg room.


Xgamerpc (www.xgamerpc.com) built my system to my specs, and it has been great so far. I really recommend them if anyone is in the market for a prebuilt gaming rig -- it did not cost much more than me building it myself.

Dam Show off! The twins have prevented me from rebuilding my blown desktop comp. Been on laptop for the past year. I may start buying parts soon hopefully. Everything has been changing lately, processors, mother boards, graphic cards, exc. I have been waiting for things to settle down. I heard July 22 processors are going to drop in prices, so that may get me started!

Yeah, I think some new Core 2 Duo processors will debut July 22 and prices will drop.

There are a couple of corners I cut on my system that I need to fill in later -- mainly aftermarket cooling for the CPU and a better hard drive (I used my old HD, which is a 125-gig first-generation SATA).

I did install BF2 again, but uninstalled it in disgust when it would not load to run the game. It just locked at 62 percent while optimizing shaders. Does DICE ever release games that are not betas?

So I've been playing Stalker and Half Life 2: Episode One.
