Fileplanet basic users with free accounts can now download the Beta version of Quake Wars! I'm downloading my copy right now. The question is, why aren't you downloading yours?

At least for the day....I missed it as well, but I'll be keeping a close eye on it to see if they'll be putting more up for download.

I've played it a bit. It represents the next step in this sort of game, but I'm not sure I like the feel of it; I prefer Battlefield. I'll play it some more, though, as it deserves a fair shake.
