Official AK Quake Wars Server

It should be up and running! IP: 128.175.22.250.

Admin password info is posted in the private forums for all Knights and Squires. This is completely untested, so let me know if there are any problems and I'll try to get them sorted out. This server is running on my dual-core Vista box at work, so it may go down without notice. This server is, of course, an unranked server, so your global rank and achievements won't be counted.

Sorry--server admin rights are restricted to current Knights and Squires only. The IP info is all you need to connect to the server and play.

I was asked this a while ago on vent so I thought I would post it here.

To connect to the [AK] server "unranked" you will need to do the following.

1.) Log into Quake Wars then click on "Play online"

2.) Enter you username and password.

3.) Click on the "Direct Connect" Tab

4.) Enter in the IP address for our server posted above. Leave the port as is.

5.) Enter in the password for the server.

6.) Have fun and kick butt.

Does this mean that the server is not visible to random people?

It is visable to everyone, but it is password protected.

Its easier and faster to find and connect to the server as posted above. You can also search via its name, which i found after connectiong directly, using "August Knights" in the name filter but make sure you have your filter showing unranked servers.

Most of us have the filter set to ranked servers only.
